The National Savings account was closed this year as the interest it was gaining

was insignificant and the process of accessing the money was too awkward as agreed by a committee meeting I called during the season. We are still having issues with the gas meter and this is something the EDF are currently dealing, although rather slowly, and I am currently waiting for them to sort this as this will stop out bills from being estimated.

This year the Club has seen an increase in income of nearly £200.

Insurance is up by around £50

Water is up by around £120

Gas and electricity have settled down after last years issues of going out of contract. This should also steady up with the fixing of the meter.

ERYC Fee up by around £13

Some maintenance costs have gone up around £100

Aas we’ve had issues with the clock breaking, plaque for Trevor, a printer that the club donated towards (agreed by committee) and things like a picture needing fixing and other small maintenance things as well as keys being cut.

I would recommend the committee consider raising the rent of the hair dressers once again from next year. We may also have to consider either increasing membership fees again next year or consider bringing in a method of restricting how much free lighting members get, something I have looked into also.

Therefore we have got:

National Savings £   Now closed

Current Acc £   14034.65

Cash in Hand £

TOTAL FUNDS AVAILABLE… £13839.64

My thanks to Bernard who helps keep running costs low.

Also my thanks to Russell who again has audited the accounts,

Overall because of the circumstances I am very pleased with our position,

Jordan Sykes, Sec/Treasurer.
