End of Season Report for Bempton Snooker Club

As the season draws to a close, Bempton Snooker Club reflects on a year of notable achievements and near triumphs for its three teams: the B Team, C Team, and D Team. Each team has shown remarkable talent and determination, culminating in a memorable season for the club.


B Team: The B Team concluded the season with a strong 3rd place finish in the league. Their campaign was marked by consistency and competitive spirit, narrowly missing out on promotion on the final day of the season. A key highlight for the B Team was the outstanding performance of J. Sykes, who not only achieved the highest number of wins for the team but also secured the division's highest break for the season.


C Team: The C Team demonstrated resilience and skill throughout the season, finishing in 4th place in the league standings. Their solid performance was driven by key players, with E. Simpson leading the way by securing the highest number of wins for the team. The C Team's competitive matches and strong finishes in the league have laid a solid foundation for future success.


D Team: The D Team had a season marked by impressive cup runs, making it to the finals of both the Division 2 Cup and the Trevor Pearson Cup. Despite their efforts, they were narrowly defeated in both finals. In the league, the D Team finished in 5th place, showcasing their capability and determination. S. Leeson was a standout performer for the D Team, achieving the highest number of wins and demonstrating consistent excellence throughout the season.
